Try to include a bright color such as red or orange in your clothing.<\/p>\n<h2>Tip #2:<\/h2>\n<p>Never give a Chinese the following objects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Umbrella:<\/strong> \u00a0Its pronunciation is very similar to that of &quot;separation&quot; so giving this object as a gift can be a bad omen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Handkerchief:<\/strong> \u00a0As its function is to dry tears, it is better not to give them away.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Watch:<\/strong> \u00a0Their pronunciation is very similar to that of &quot;saying goodbye&quot; so it is bad luck to give them away.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Shoes:<\/strong> \u00a0Never give shoes to your Chinese partner because it means that you are going to run away.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Tip #3:<\/h2>\n<p>Never gift anything in multiples of four, or that contains a number four.
