Modern architecture of China

Modern Chinese architecture.

China is a country rich in architecture, art, music and language, this country as the years have passed has become one of the richest in the world, either due to its masterful technological advances such as the large buildings that modernize to the country.

One of those places destined to highlight greatness is the Jinmao building in Shanghai, being one of the tallest in China and the third-largest skyscraper in the world.

Its design and construction perfectly combine Chinese architectural style and modern technology. It is an excellent modern architectural work, with the most advanced technology in the world, mainly Chinese.

Next is the Wangjing Soho, located next to the Beijing city airport and with more than 521,000 meters2 surface, The three asymmetrical curvilinear towers contain offices and commercial premises.

Originally, SOHO was designed as a two-tower complex, but concerns over tower height led to it being redesigned as a three-tower project with lower maximum height.

In 2008 China was one of the venues for the Olympic games, known as "Bird's Nest", the design of this stadium was based on the nest of birds, not only aesthetically but also structurally. The internal routes are "marked" by elements of slate and spaced by bamboo sotillos, stone blocks and small covered gardens that reflect some of the symbols of Chinese culture.

There is no doubt that Chinese architecture continues to be fraught with aesthetic and structural challenges. «
